Help Our Cause

  The mission for the 16 DOD Foundation is to build a charitable not for profit organization to HELP, HEAL and HONOR. We vow to bring HELP to the communities where we live and the communities, that have in some way, made an impact in the development of our members. We charge ourselves to bring HEALING to those same communities through events such as school supply drives to help local teachers and students and raising money to fortify the origination for further community involvement. We also promise to HONOR members of these communities through service while also documenting and bringing attention to their causes and legacy.

  The 16 DOD came together in the fall of 1984 in Tuskegee Alabama on the campus of Tuskegee University. As the years and decades passed, their bond became stronger and stronger. In 2022, after many years of positive interactions and several individual acts of kindness, the group got together to formalize their love and philanthropy through the non-profit corporation 16 DOD Foundation, Inc.
